Steph Routh is running for East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District director, At-Large Position 2, on November 3, 2026. The official ballot lists Alex Parise, Jeremy Wood, Daniel Newberry and Steph Routh in the nonpartisan contest for a four-year term.
Background and priorities
Routh identifies herself as a small-business owner and educator. Her statement lists leadership at Oregon Walks, community engagement work for Sen. Khanh Pham and instruction at Portland State University.
She lists a bachelor’s degree from Linfield University, Parkrose High School, the Metro Natural Areas Funding Advisory Panel and chairing Portland’s Planning and Sustainability Commission.
Routh supports protecting farmland, keeping runoff and pollution out of streams and guarding water supplies from increasing data-center demands.
She says the district’s spending decisions should support stream restoration, healthy soil, farms and neighborhoods across East Multnomah County. Her statement connects those goals to more than 20 years of community advocacy.
The background and positions above come from the candidate’s own statement in the official November 2026 voters’ pamphlet (page M-72). Election officials publish candidate statements as submitted and do not verify their claims.
