The Portland Trail Blazers will tip off their 2026 NBA Summer League slate against the Phoenix Suns on Friday, July 10, at 8 p.m. in Las Vegas, the team announced Friday, June 26.
Portland drew four preliminary-round games over a seven-day stretch at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion:
- Friday, July 10 — vs. Phoenix Suns, 8 p.m. (ESPNU, Cox Pavilion)
- Sunday, July 12 — vs. Orlando Magic, 4 p.m. (ESPNU, Cox Pavilion)
- Monday, July 13 — vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, 8 p.m. (ESPN2, Thomas & Mack Center)
- Thursday, July 16 — vs. Denver Nuggets, 7 p.m. (Prime Video, Thomas & Mack Center)
Every team is guaranteed at least five games. The top four squads from the preliminary round advance to a championship semifinal on Saturday, July 18, and a winner-take-all final on Sunday, July 19. The remaining 26 teams each play one consolation game.
With no picks in the 2026 NBA Draft after trading both selections, Summer League becomes the primary audition for Portland's fringe roster players heading into the Micah Nori era.
Second-year center Yang Hansen, the 7-foot-1 No. 16 pick in 2025 who averaged 10.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists at last year's Summer League, figures to headline the squad. Two-way players Chris Youngblood, a 6-4 guard who appeared in 32 NBA games with Oklahoma City before Portland signed him in March, and Jayson Kent, a 6-8 forward who shot 39.3% from three in 38 G League games with the Rip City Remix, should also see significant minutes.
ESPN basketball insider Olgun Uluc reported on X that Flynn Cameron, a 6-5 guard/wing from New Zealand named the 2026 NBL Most Improved Player after averaging 11.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists for the Adelaide 36ers, will join Portland's summer roster.
The Blazers have not released their official Summer League roster. New head coach Nori, hired June 24, said at his introductory press conference that Portland will bring "relentless" energy on defense. Summer League will offer the first on-court glimpse of that philosophy.
Portland opens against Phoenix on ESPNU at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 10. All 76 Summer League games air live on Prime Video or ESPN platforms.
