Revolution Hall in Portland's Buckman neighborhood will host Grammy-winning New Orleans collective Tank and the Bangas on November 11 with tickets available through the venue.

The show is part of The Last Balloon Tour 2026, supporting the band's latest album of the same name. The Last Balloon closes out a trilogy that started with 2019's Green Balloon and continued with Red Balloon, featuring executive producer Austin Brown (a frequent collaborator of Jamila Woods and Masego) and contributions from producer Iman Omari and pianist Tane Runo.

Tank and the Bangas won the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Poetry Album at the 67th Grammy Awards in 2025 for their record The Heart, The Mind, The Soul. It was the band's first win after four nominations, including Best New Artist in 2020.

Lead singer Tarriona "Tank" Ball came up through spoken word poetry battles before forming the group, and the Bangas gained national attention after winning NPR's Tiny Desk Contest in 2017.

Ball told EverOut that the new tour leans into crowd participation: "There's lots of gang vocals, handclaps, all these intentional moments to let everyone know, 'This is my part, but your part's coming up next — so get ready.'"

Revolution Hall, the 850-seat venue operated by Mississippi Studios and True West Concerts inside the former Washington High School, gives the show an intimate room for a band whose past collaborators include Big Freedia, Questlove, and Jill Scott. No opening act has been announced.
